of people in the pro-environment movement country and world -
wide that cried out about how alternative thinking would lead to newer, more positive and less harmfully - impacting industries and tried to introduce inventions that could have spurred new economies... Had the auto industry not blocked things, we could have had more energy efficient cars decades ago... but they did not want the «expense»
of helping foster this new industry... it is so damn sad it took a
war to make people «wake up» about alternative fuels and how exciting the options are.
And that's when I got the
idea for this book: scientists from Canada to Finland, Scotland to China, Belgium to New Zealand, from venerable Nobel Laureates to energetic young researchers, all giving their view
of Mann, his stick, and the
wider climate
wars they helped launch.
