The brainchild of well known adventurer and
wildlife documentary maker, Malcolm Douglas, it has been established as a research station as well as a place where the public can be educated about the dangers of crocodiles.
The evidence for this behavior was captured by

maker John Downer, who, in his
documentary Dolphins: Spies in the Pod, witnessed a group of young dolphins snag a puffer fish from near the ocean floor and begin to pass it around.
