performances (better even than her Oscar -
winning turn
in Black Swan).
The
film doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it's a sturdy, tonally assured piece of work with a
winning specificity to its voice and setting, giving Murray a real gift of a part
in one of his best
performances, one that the audience have clearly responded to
in a big way.
