Living previously

Yet, a few
winters ago when I was at a weeklong yoga training, I took every opportunity available to run outside and bask
in the lovely Southern California
sunshine.
Instead, try to get moderate amounts of
sunshine, if you can for most of the year, and focus on the healthy dietary sources of natural vitamin D that I listed above... and also look for supplements
in the
winter to be based on fish oil sources of vitamin D if you can.
You totally can if you want to, and I'll be the first to admit that I freeze berries and peaches
in the summer for occasional smoothies
in the
winter because they keep me hopeful that
sunshine is (hopefully) coming soon!
