It seems like some days you do nothing but change diapers and
wipe poopy butts.
CON: You still have to
wipe her poopy butt after she poops in the toilet, so yeah, you still have to deal with poop.
Baby wipes have their obvious uses like
wiping poopy butts and cleaning up spills, but as a mom of 3, I have learned that there are so many different things I can use baby wipes for!

I have changed
poopy diapers, pureed food, taught the alphabet, mediated playground disputes, kissed booboos,
wiped boogers — you name it.
Since birth, I had gotten into the habit, in stead of using
wipes when we were at the hotel or home, I would plunk him into the sink (following a wet or
poopy diaper) with Luke warm water and he would always pee.
I only
wipe the area if my son has a
poopy diaper or has really soaked his pre-fold.
It just occurred to me that when LO starts solids we need to spray
poopy wipes as well as
poopy diapers... duh!
It helps when she has huge
poopy diapers or when I need to moisten the cloth
wipe for just a refreshing swipe during a diaper change.
Only this can be complicated by lots of things: a squirming baby, a major
poopy, an unforeseen shortage in
wipes or clean diapers.
In either case, you are «dealing with poop» because you do have to get the
poopy diaper off and
wipe the baby clean!
I do not squeal in horror when I have to
wipe up a
poopy little butt.
I use 3 - 4
wipes on a
poopy diaper, quickly rinse them out, and squeeze out the water, then throw in my pail to wash later.
Keep the new mom stylin» with a bag that hides the mess of
poopy diapers, snot suckers and baby
wipes under a glam exterior.
If you have heard EC is time - consuming, or messy, try cleaning up the
poopy diaper, with no
wipes or spare diapers, as an alternative!)

wipe is Karen's favorite, because I find it easiest to use several
wipes per
poopy change, grabbing a fresh
wipe as needed, rather than folding a larger
wipe over and over.
Simple, fresh, plain water is often not enough to clean a
poopy bottom, so we do recommend something on the
wipes for the
poopy changes.
For big,
poopy messes I probably prefer the Two - sided
wipe, but these are nice to finish with
If your baby's diaper is
poopy, grab another
wipe and clean her bottom.

All this said, washing **** of it isn't fun, so if you know you are changing a

OH MAN yes yes yes... i've got so many feet kicks into
poopy diapers as i try to
wipe & lift & pull the diaper out the way.
My 13 month old son likes to try to grab himself during
poopy diaper changes, so I let him play with a
wipe while I change his diaper (he loves to shred things)... and his hands are actually cleaner than when we started!!
Changing a
poopy cloth diaper is pretty much the same as a disposable diaper with one tricky part... the
wipes.
