If kale tabbouleh salad sounds a tad untraditional to you, well hold onto your hats, because I also replaced the traditional bulgur wheat
with kamut.
With the kamut as the filler, I needed to add protein and fat to give this salad some sticking power.
Fruits, vegetables, yogurt and meats are all good foods to add and mix
with Kamut and homemade Kamut baby cereals.
Perfect pizza dough This is the best pizza dough recipe ever, I always make this one
with kamut and durum flour for a crispy and sweet result!
Notes: Any type of flaked grain will work in this recipe — so far, I've made the cookies
with kamut and quinioa.

I have been experimenting
with kamut for the last few weeks.

I was thinking about playing around
with spelt and
kamut since they have lower amounts of gluten.
Drain
Kamut and place in a medium saucepan

Indeed there are a lot of gluten - free foods available now in Italy, but there are also a lot more wholegrain items (
with gluten) such as wholemeal,
kamut and spelt bread, and the «farro» (a softer Italian grain similar to — or a variety of — spelt).

Kamut flour, maple syrup, almond milk, and coconut oil, these cookies take (most of) the guilt out of the cookie jar.
With the exception of the Berbere
Kamut, I think everything was pretty easy, and not too time consuming.

This fava bean salad is filled
with springtime flavors, a unique whole grain (
kamut) and a delicious pancetta basil dressing.
Kamut imparts a sweet and nutty flavor to this dough that contrasts beautifully
with the baguette's rustic and craggy crust.
I decided on South Indian style mixed vegetable and lentil stew (sambar)
with the turnip, thin crust pizza (I used a prebaked crust made of whole wheat and
kamut flours)
with pesto, mushrooms and arugula and... tilapia
with rainbow chard sautéed in extra-virgin olive oil
with a healthy doze of minced garlic!

This worked great
with some whole grain

It has an amazing blend of oats, spelt,

with just a touch of sweetness from vanilla and molasses.
Although I don't bake
with it often, I love
kamut.

I bake
with spelt,
kamut and whole wheat pastry flour.
Toss it
with a healthy pasta like a soba /
kamut noodle or rice noodle, and pair it
with a light salad for a nutritious meal.
You can replace the
kamut with brown rice if your prefer.
In a large pot, add 1 cup of
Kamut with 3 cups of water.
I CAN tolerate Spelt and
Kamut and have tried it
with great success.

Kamut Spaghetti
with Mussels, Girolles and Smoked White Pepper
with Pecorino.
300 grams
kamut spaghetti (or substitute
with a similar fresh pasta of your choice) 1 litre of unsalted chicken stock 30 grams sea salt 2 tbsp olive oil 1 knob butter 50g pecorino finely grated 50g parmesan finely grated Freshly ground smoked white pepper (if you can't find smoked pepper you can use smoked sea salt to add the smoky flavour) 200 g mussels (weight without shells) 200 g girolle mushrooms (you could substitute for cepes or chanterelles also) 2 cloves garlic - finely diced 2 tbsp finely diced flat leaf parsley
Drain and rinse the
kamut with cold water to cool the grains for the salad.

BUT spelt does have gluten, like wheat, along
with rye,
kamut, and some say oats.
The only way I've tried
kamut is in PC's 5 - grain blend (http://www.presidentschoice.ca/LCLOnline/products.jsp?type=details&catIds=cat40002&catIds=104&productId=prod1730005& — not exactly the real thing, but I like it for a quick dinner mixed
with whatever I have in my fridge when I don't have anything else planned!
