Seems that SEGA is trying to bring the Valkyria Chronicles series back to life, first with the PC port of the first game (that came out today, by the way) and now this crossover
with Phantasy Star Nova.
But it's pretty rare that we get great game cats, even though they had a promising start
with Phantasy Star.
Japanese players still enjoying Keiji Inafune's sorcery - infused PS Vita action game Soul Sacrifice can look forward to a little crossover
with Phantasy Star Online 2.
For many young Master System owners, Ys: The Vanished Omens was one of the games, along
with Phantasy Star, they could use as ammunition on school playgrounds against those pesky NintenDorks.
With Phantasy Star Portable 2: Infinity doing well in the Japanese charts (well deserved) and the much anticipated Phantasy Star Online 2 on its way the Phantasy Star series looks set to continue for many years to come.
Nintendo has not confirmed this story, yet,
with Phantasy Star Online on the horizon, it's not really too much of a far fetched idea.
Sensing an opportunity, SEGA revived the briefly dormant Phantasy Star brand
with Phantasy Star Portable for the PSP, a game that was mostly similar to the Phantasy Star Online games but with a few Monster Hunter - inspired twists.

I don't think we've ever had as difficult a time setting the price for a game as we did
with Phantasy Star II, actually.

SEGA have sparked a deal
with Asiasoft to develop an English - language version of
Phantasy Star Online 2 for release in South - East Asia regions.
The combat system is deep enough to appeal to seasoned hunters and once the game opens up there's plenty of variety — the multiplayer angle remains untested for now, but those familiar
with the way Capcom's game worked (or, to a lesser degree, SEGA's
Phantasy Star Online) will appreciate this portable - focused adventure.

with the original
Phantasy Star, the sequels have many more party members and the amount of data isn't even comparable.
