I had hours of fun
with Subspace Emissary.
And my main issue
with subspace and Smash Run is that the environments were generic to conform to very different art styles Nintendo franchises have.
Not exact matches
It is composed of four to five
subspaces which are all equipped
with a large screen, positioned in front of a table around on which students take their place and collaborate
with projects in small groups.
3DS has Smash Run, which is kinda similar (not really) and isn't that great, but its quality and length is understandable since it's a portable game that otherwise has the full Smash Bros experience built - in, so it gets a pass, but the Wii U one would've been massively improved
with a new
Subspace Emissary sort of mode.
They should've made a
Subspace Emissary mode or something like it in Smash Bros Wii U. That's the main reason I don't play it, I don't have people to play
with most of the time and there isn't enough singleplayer-wise to keep me engaged beyond the initial hype I had for it (more characters and stages doesn't really satisfy me, I need a new experience).
YEAH I'm in that exact same situation, well maybe not, but I wanted a
subspace emissary to play coop
with....
Pit scored one of the more prominent roles within the
Subspace Emissary mode, teaming up
with Mario himself early on.
The
subspace areas
with graphical «glitches» are also a joy to walk through,
with bricks and cubes giving coins in an homage to Super Mario Brothers.
After that process is done, Peach also runs into
Subspace with the others, where they find Tabuu, the true enemy.
In The
Subspace Emissary, Peach is watching Mario and Kirby fighting together
with Zelda, and run down to assist them after the arrival of the Primids.
Hey wouldn't it be cool if the great maze from the
Subspace Emissary was a smash run alternative map I know they probably wouldn't do this but it would just be really cool who's
with me
(along
with other games like
Subspace / Continuum, Geometry Wars, modern MOBAs, etc..)
To unlock him, the player must either play 22 Brawl matches, clear Classic mode without using a continue, or have him join the party in The
Subspace Emissary by clearing
Subspace (Part 1);
with any of the former two methods, Luigi must be defeated on Luigi's Mansion to be unlocked.
Despite all the run - ins
with Hammer Bros., Koopa Troopas, Bullet Bills, and more to this tune, hearing it in
Subspace as you set your eyes upon a life - extending Mushroom lent a certain comfort to the space.

Sonic, along
with Jigglypuff, Squirtle, Toon Link, Wolf O'Donnell, and Zero Suit Samus, are the only characters that are never seen as trophies in The
Subspace Emissary.
He can be unlocked by playing 300 Brawl matches, completing Classic
with ten characters, playing ten hours of Brawl matches, or by having Sonic join the party in The
Subspace Emissary;
with any of the first three methods, the player must then defeat Sonic on Green Hill Zone.
With their common goal of revenge on the
Subspace Army, they infiltrate the Research Facility to find Samus» Power Suit.
Barrel Cannons appear in The
Subspace Emissary as black, metallic tubes
with yellow arrows.
Smash Run was little more than a truncated version of the
subspace emissary that saw players trying to beat up filler enemies to pick up power - ups, boost your characters stats in an erratic way, and then enter the fray
with a stats that could either be a boon or a curse.
