Another option is warming them up and serving
with a scoop of vanilla ice
cream on top, which adds an

But if I don't have either of those in my fridge I substitute

Additional sweetener, such as honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar Sliced fresh fruit Grated citrus zest (lemon and orange are both wonderful) Vanilla bean paste (contains processed sugar, use
with discretion) Method: My friend Millie at Real Food for Less Money came up
with the base for this recipe, and I'm so glad she did!
For this reason I didn't add any
additional sweeteners to this, but if you want a sweeter version you can always use alternative sweeteners (which aren't as harsh on the body as refined sugar) and add a touch of pure maple syrup to the lemon coconut whipped
cream or drizzle the parfait
with honey.
Serve the fritters
with shredded cheese, sour
cream, avocado slices and
additional sliced green onions.

If I can't switch out the milk, yogurt,

additional effort, I can't use the recipe.
I baked for 10 minutes, then topped
with sliced almonds, baked for 7

with a little heavy
cream that was brought just to a boil.
