on the weekend and it turned out far too sweet, I'm a sweet tooth and I can just handle it, especially when I dollop some
almond butter on top, but I couldn't imagine eating it
with honey!

top with a pinch extra cinnamon and put the apple
tops back
on.
Combined
with the

on top, it's seriously decadent breakfast heaven.
However, if you have diabetes / pre-diabetes and you are including bananas as part of a whole meal then I would just balance them
with some healthy fat (avocados, nuts, etc.) You could have a banana
on top of a piece of sprouted whole grain toast
with some
almond butter and that would be a good option.

Her description of the cake intrigued me, because while it started
with a simple white
butter cake, once the cake was baked you immediately spread a sweet
