I made this
with regular
pasta - thin spaghetti, although I normally use
angel hair pasta.

You could make a noodle salad
with any strand
pasta — even linguini or spaghetti — although I'd suggest staying away from rice vermicelli or
angel hair, which are tough to work
with because they're so fragile.
Thin, nimble noodles (in this case, fideos, vermicelli, or
angel hair pasta) take on sophisticated character if you just throw them into a dry pan
with oil for a few minutes before you cook them.
Finally, add the
angel hair pasta to the pan and gently toss for one minute to coat the noodles
with the sauce and to heat through.
