So
with the
baby now in secondary school and her
sister happy in juniors, 2016 seemed the ideal time to re-launch my ceramics to the wider world, starting at the BCTF.
Before Julian was born we talked a lot
with Ava about how he would be a little
baby and need a lot of mama milk to grow up big and strong like his big
sister.
As my
sister with a teenager reminded me, she did not have him cry it out as a
baby, and she doesn't have a teenager who can't sleep!
My mum (who also had mild PCOS) told me she suffered from oversupply while nursing and my
sister (another one
with PCOS) definitely had over supply, I too was able to provide more than enough for my
baby's needs.
This
baby is apparently already plotting
with it's older
sisters, because it HATES coffee.
It was obvious that they were
baby sisters and brothers of biggies that were off
with mom or dad while
baby stayed
with the other parent and splashed or napped.
Two
sisters have teamed up to change this
with a product they created specifically so mom and
baby can get skin - to - skin after c - sections.
This will not be the most relaxing trip of your life, but you will have wonderful memories of your
sister's wedding AND your first trip
with baby!
My
sister and I, having popped out our little cry
babies within weeks of each other this past winter, did our best to keep one another occupied by entertaining and annoying Starbucks patrons or the requisite malls (even the ones completely out of our way)
with our motley crew.
He's affectionate
with his siblings and loving to his
baby sister.
My son came barging into my room, and despite me mouthing for him to «GET OUT NOW» (not really in line
with the gentle parenting, but for god's sake, the
baby was this close to napping), he refused to leave without airing his grievances over his
sister taking all of the rice that was meant for them to share for tacos.

While I always welcomed the creative creatures and inventions into our home, I was disappointed that many of them were adorned
with things that had likely been purchased at dollar stores (i.e. pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, googly eyes), which in addition to being wasteful also made most of them choking hazards for my younger son (80 % of the kids had
baby brothers or
sisters at home).
