Graphically Ys won't do much to push the boundaries of the PSP
with bland environments and lackluster character sprites.

environments are extremely generic, dressed up
with bland - looking towns and set pieces, as well as unattractive textures.
The graphics are crushingly
bland,
environments try to be whacky and cartoonish
with UFOs and zombies roaming the streets but the awful textures and blocky structures make it feel like a dated port of an N64 game and I often found the graphics to dip during races which threw me out of 1st place on several occasions.

Most of the
environments are filled
with blurry textures and, while most of the dinosaur models are decently represented, everything else (especially the people) looks so
bland they almost look out of place.
Sure, that's not saying much, since the series is known for great looking character models and yet brings forth
bland environments, but this version takes it up a notch,
with sharper, detailed character models, improved textures, more enemies onscreen than ever before, and silky smooth gameplay.

environments look polished, although they are also
bland and empty,
with the exception of the horror section.
With that said, it does look good for the price, and the
environments look great, although the areas surrounding tracks are a little
bland.
It is unfortunate that my first experience
with Dynasty Warriors was so disappointing, but as a newcomer the
bland gameplay,
bland environments and
bland AI doesn't make me want to come back.
The game shows its age at times visually too, especially
with some of the
bland environments you explore.
Even
with the graphic issues, there were some really pretty, detailed, and interesting
environments to explore like the Centennial Building, which contains gobs of reading material on the town's past; however, on the whole, I found the look of the town rather
bland.
The overall presentation of the game is just competent
with a lack of character to be found across the fairly
bland environments, but overall Time Recoil is an easy title to recommend and another enjoyable addition to the Nintendo Switch's ever - growing catalogue of releases.
The whole game just looked pretty uninspiring,

It's certainly not the worst game in terms of its visuals,

environments, but on the whole everything just looks basic and very

Couple this
with the fact that the music is terrible, the graphics are on the level of a PS2 game, the
environments are small and
bland and the long load times, and you'll find that after playing a few levels of SNS, you'll feel no sense of accomplishment and just turn off the game.
