My two very large pancakes came out topped
with homemade caramel, candied
pecans, and ginger
butter.
So I did what I had to: I made
butter tarts
with maple syrup and
pecans, because almost nothing makes me feel better than baking something does (except maybe for eating whatever I've just baked).
Haha — I just meant thatI usually think of
pecan butter as a savory dimension, but
with the vanilla and stevia, it's definitely a sweet treat.
I've never had
pecan butter, but I could so get down
with this!
8 oz chopped dates (
with sugar on) 1 stick
butter 2/3 c powdered sugar 1-1/2 c Rice Krispies (gf rice cereal) 1 c chopped
Pecans 1 t gf vanilla powdered sugar
I recommend pumpkin spice muffins frosted
with this Totally Terrific Toasted
Pecan Butter (featured in the photos), the taste is out of this world!
