anyway, Yesterday I was reading an article about replacing eggs in
baking with chia gel (chia seeds soaked in water or juice).
I've been in
love with chia pudding lately, it's so great for breakfast.
It was my first time baking
with chia as egg replacement, but I followed the recipe to a T. They're still not cooked in the middle and have now been in the oven for 45 minutes!
I usually finish up with a big bowl of fruit, but last night I
went with chia pudding topped with a kiwi and a few slices of banana.
I've never
cooked with chia seeds before but am so excited to try them in a dessert!
I've tried to get a few hints on how it's made 1/2 coconut milk 1/2 cashew milk
blended with chia — left overnight then a scoop of coconut yoghurt (expect it's coyo) and then topped of with kakao nibs, coconut flakes, blueberries and goji berries.
Aim for at least thirty minutes of fresh - air activity each day and don't forget to drink plenty of filtered water (or coconut
water with chia seeds!)

Oatmeal with chia strawberry sauce, almond butter, hemp seeds, coconut flakes, and cashew milk.
While the hemp milk was delicious on its own, it got too omega - tasting when
combined with the chia seeds... even when we added delicious flavours (even chocolate didn't help!)
The way you've prepared them here sounds wonderful, especially when
paired with chia pudding (my other obsession) and date crumble.
It is made
with chia instead of nuts or oils and it thickens nicely... kind of reminds me of a thousand island dressing too!
Simply mix melted dark chocolate with coconut milk (or any non-dairy milk), blend raspberries and another cup of
milk with the chia seeds, layer the two mixtures, and top with grated chocolate and fresh berries.
I didn't have tahini so I used natural pb, I don't do
well with chia so I used 1 gelatin egg (paleo) and I put in 1tbsp of cassava flour to thicken up the batter just a bit, I also didn't have cashews so thats prob why my batter needed to be thickened.
A healthy hot breakfast cereal or
porridge with chia sees, flax seeds, hemp, coconut, and figs + pistachios for flavor.
Enjoy these brilliant bhaji's warm as a light meal or snack
served with my chia jam and carrot and beetroot raita.
You can also chia seeds to other recipes, like multi-grain
bread with chia seeds.
I've never had any
issue with chia before, but after doing some further reading perhaps this recipe needs some water with the coconut milk as well to assist the chia gel to form.
For vegans, I instead recommend making a cake version of our blueberry turmeric
muffins with chia seeds.
