My son loved the banana milkshakes
with chocolate syrup on the inside of the cups for a nice visual effect.
Gon na have to try this because all I want lately is a big bowl of Cap n Crunch covered in chocolate milk
with chocolate syrup on top.

I have had a similar not - so - good experience
with homemade white
chocolate making It always separates for me while it's hardening so it's just a layer of cocoa butter
on top and maple
syrup underneath lol.
Instead of the
chocolate sauce I put caramel
syrup on it then covered it
with chopped nuts.
Melt 1/4 cup Bittersweet
chocolate chips
with coconut oil and maple
syrup in a double boiler and stir together until smooth, turn heat
on low until your ready to use it.
With the mixer
on low speed, add the
chocolate syrup mixture in a slow, steady stream.
Top pancakes
with a dollop of yogurt
on each one and add additional
chocolate syrup and strawberries if desired.
2 - 4 tbsp of maple
syrup depending
on your sweetness preference (I prefer my
chocolate decadent and stuck
with 2)
I made the
chocolate simply by mixing unsweetened cocoa powder
with nunaturals cocoa stevia
syrup, which I get
on iherb.com.
This particular version usually makes it to our breakfast table sans
chocolate chips but
with a drizzle of warm maple
syrup on top.
All you have to do is roast some pumpkin seeds
with maple
syrup and spices, melt a few bars of
chocolate, and spread everything
on a baking sheet.

Quite a lot of
chocolate on the market is actually quite unhealthy,
with ingredients like soy lecithin, (a lot of) refined sugar, artificial flavors, and high fructose corn
syrup.
If you want to put a smile
on someone's face, just mention naturally sweetened, nourishing
chocolate marshmallows — and these nostalgic treats are made without corn
syrup and
with lots of gut - healing gelatin!
Once frozen you can add a layer
on top of
chocolate / / for the
chocolate — simply mix two tablespoons of coconut oil
with teaspoon of raw cacao powder and an (optional) tiny drizzle of rice
syrup.
Then, top
with blueberries, maple
syrup,
chocolate, peanut butter, coconut whipped cream, or whatever you love
on pancakes.
I am still trying to make this recipe
with xylitol instead of agave
syrup because I am trying to create a cookie that will have a lower glycemic index and less sugar (forget the
chocolate chips for now, I will work
on that part later!).
* If * you're not really jazzed about them, there are a couple ways to trouble shoot so nothing is wasted: just melt them back down and add (1) 1 - 2 tsp maple
syrup for a little sweetness as I suggest as an option in the post, and / or (2) a layer of melted (I suggest organic and dark —
with a cacao content of 70 % +)
chocolate on top of the coconut mints after they've been in the freezer and so are solid.
