You can sub the hazelnuts
for chopped almonds or, if you want to make the bars

chop 2 cups of tightly packed bagged spinach and add to a mortar, finely mince 1 clove of garlic and add to the mortar, then add the toasted
nuts and pound
with a pestle
for about 2 minutes, then add 3 fresh basil leafs and pound everything together
for another 3 minutes, until everything is well mashed
As
for «the everything on it,» I've coated these treats
with chopped nuts, pretzel bits, and cacao nibs.
It's filled

Pick items
for your menu that you can prepare in advance (like this Macaroni Salad) and pair it
with items that require almost no prep at all like
chopped fresh vegetables and fruit, hummus, cheese,
nuts, etc..
Easy Double Chocolate Chip Brownies are a chocolate lover's dream
with a hint of vanilla and a dash of
chopped nuts for texture.
Layer the lettuce leaves first onto a platter or large plate
with a bowl
for the chicken on one end (or in the middle) and then place a handful of each
chopped veggie, herb and
nut around as well.
Serve garnished
with chopped bacon, chives, and a drizzle of cream, or

chopped cilantro
for garnish.
If you choose, add
chopped nuts or oats — I like mine
with an obscene amount of
chopped pecans
for extra crunch.
As I have a love
for beets also, decided to use the garlic cashew sauce splashed over a sautéed beet noodle salad
with scallions, cucumbers, cilantro and
chopped cashew
nuts.
