The party gets started
with a zesty avocado
sauce made simply
with two large ripe California Avocados, fresh
cilantro,
lime juice,
lime zest, plain yogurt, and salt and pepper.
Last night's was leftover quinoa (
with lemon,
cilantro, and olive oil) and sauteed haricots verts
with a
sauce of equal parts miso paste, tahini, and a splash of
lime juice.
Some kind of a
cilantro -
lime sauce would also be great
with this vegan Buddha bowl, I don't have a recipe for that but I'm sure you can find a good one on Google!
Assemble your taco starting
with the tofu «taco meat», the pineapple salsa, some extra
cilantro, and make is perfect by adding a little of your fav taco
sauce, avocado or just a little extra
lime juice!
Serve Chiles Rellenos
with Sauce,
cilantro,
lime wedges and sour cream.
Top
with a generous dollop of the tartar
sauce and a few
cilantro leaves and serve
with a
lime wedge.
Season the
sauce with salt and pepper to taste, squeeze the
lime juice over top, and serve
with extra chopped
cilantro.
Red would also be good - used dried oregano (all I had on hand)- generous
with the
cilantro and put in right after the black beans - squeezed half a
lime over the whole thing right before serving - garnished
with a bit of sour cream on the side - I used El Yucateco xxxhot
sauce to liven mine a bit.
This week I am sharing a chicken, mango and black bean salad
with a vegan
cilantro lime sauce (SCD friendly) and one of my favorite summer veggies, Kohlrabi in a refreshing summer salad.
Top
with an egg, spicy tomato
sauce, cabbage, radishes,
cilantro, avocado (if using), several squeezes of
lime juice, and queso fresco crumbles.
Top
with a few tablespoons of the fresh Salsa Pico (save some for the side) fresh
cilantro, jalapeño,
lime wedge and brown rice, tortilla chips and hot
sauce as desired.
Garnish each serving
with a fresh pour of enchilada
sauce, a dusting of
cilantro, a sprinkling of
lime juice, and a dollop of sour cream.
Shredded seasoned chicken, fresh avocado halves stuffed
with said shredded chicken that's baked to perfection, and finally a dreamy
cilantro lime cream
sauce made
with full - fat coconut milk drizzled over the aforementioned shredded - chicken stuffed avocados.
Cilantro is the major flavour in the
sauce,
with hits from the ginger, garlic, basil and fresh
lime juice.
Try it
with cilantro,
lime, shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado, tomatoes or hot
sauce.
Make the enchilada
sauce: Put the tomatoes
with juice, chiles, onion,
cilantro, and
lime into a blender or food processor.
For my Asian Chicken Meatballs, I used ground chicken mixed
with water chestnuts, scallions, garlic, ginger, onions,
cilantro, rice vinegar, soy
sauce,
lime juice, breadcrumbs and egg.
