And they are a great use of our resources — abundant cukes from our CSA, spices from our co-op, and raspberry leaf, peppers, dill and garlic from our garden (I skipped red pepper flakes and just went ahead and pickled some peppers in
with the cukes — BEST IDEA EVER, thanks Peter Piper).

It was very refreshing, and the sesame oil, ginger, etc. give it a distinctly Asian taste that goes great

with a simple, dilly tomato -
cuke salad.
Add the fruity -
cuke mash to a cocktail shaker along
with 1/4 cup of gin, a generous dash of honey, 2 tablespoons of aquavit (a caraway seed - infused Scandinavian liqueur), 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice and a handful of ice.
