kefir pretty much every day, so I'm pretty certain I get all the good gut bacteria I need, even if it is
with dairy.

with fermented

Interestingly, some individuals who are sensitive to
dairy under normal circumstances are nonetheless able to digest fermented
dairy products such as whey and
kefir with ease.
Dairy kefir grains can be converted into water
kefir grains, but check
with your local WAPF chapter to see whether anyone has water
kefir grains to spare; they self - replicate rapidly.
Fit in some raw animal protein and fats (from high quality sources), preferably daily, such as raw
dairy foods (milk, cream,
kefir, unheated yogurts, ice cream), raw fish (ideally fermented), and raw muscle or organ meats (such as steak tartare, freezing meat for at least two weeks before consumption to eliminate parasite risk), and egg yolks (see side bar What's the Story
with Raw Eggs?).
Serve
with kefir (
dairy or coconut water) smoothie made
with favorite fruit, coconut oil and a cucumber blended in.
Serve
with grass - fed butter or almond butter, a dollop of organic, grass - fed yogurt or
kefir (if your gut tolerates
dairy) and a small amount of sliced bananas or berries of your choice.
In a tortilla, roll up any type of leftover meat along
with some pre-sliced peppers, lettuce, sprouts, or other compatible vegetables
with a goodly amount of a dressing, mayo, tapenade or hummus, and serve
with a glass of
dairy kefir blended
with a dribble of homemade chocolate syrup or grape juice.
Also, I have been allergic to
dairy all of my life — also yogurt — also raw milk that has soured naturally (without
kefir grains)-- is it possible for someone like me to be able to tolerate milk
kefir WITH the milk
kefir grains?
Raw fermented foods such as sauerkraut, kombucha, kimchi,
kefir (
dairy or coconut) or raw full - fat plain yogurt are packed
with probiotics, vitamins and enzymes.
With all the bad press about milk and
dairy gaining popularity and Doctors warning about the harmful effects of
dairy, does anyone worry about
