Back in June of 2012 Asus unveiled the Transformer Book, a (at the time) unique Ivy Bridge Ultrabook convertible
with dockable keyboard.

Then there's the ThinkPad Tablet which seems to combine functions of the Transformer
with the Flyer by offering a
dockable folio
with full
keyboard and mouse, which folds down like a netbook, as well as an active digitizer for digital inking and notetaking.
One issue I want to raise is that the 11.6 - inch Clovertrail tablets
with great
dockable keyboards offer a near perfect combination for the traveling Windows user but it's not quite enough which, in other words, means they are sub-par.
The Transformer, which connects to a
dockable keyboard, retails for $ 399 and comes
with 16 GB of on - board storage.
Unlike smaller
dockables, the Spectre 13t x2 boasts a spacious
keyboard with a conventional layout and large key caps.
The 4.3 - inch Android - powered smartphone will be priced at NT$ 17,990 ($ 610) on its own and the
dockable tablet and
keyboard will cost roughly $ 240 and $ 130, respectively, bringing the PadFone's total cost
with accessories to $ 980 in Taiwan.
