This method produced a dramatic effect when Kidner crossed 2 colour bands with a third at a slight angle, resulting in a completely new pattern, with a wave like vertical image hovering into view producing an intense optical dazzle.

Characterized by flat primary colors contrasted against mirrored surfaces, these paintings contain overlapping screen - printed images along «with broad swipes of the brush and splashes of paint» that Artsy describes as both «dramatic and explosive.»

This event is in tandem with Missing, a thoughtful survey of Calle's most emblematic projects from the last decade — Rachel Monique, Take Care of Yourself, The Last Image, and Voir la mer — presenting them in a dramatic setting along the San Francisco waterfront.

Their latest effort, in conjunction with TreeHugger favorites Inhabitat, is an impressive collection of some of the most dramatic and iconic images in sustainable architectue.

Dramatic images of out - of - control wildfires in western North American forests have appeared on our television and computer screens with increasing regularity in recent decades, while costs of fire suppression have soared.

The long, flat «handle» of the stick — extending back a full thousand years and sloping slightly downward in a cooling trend from the deeper past toward more recent times — balanced with the dramatic upward jut of the «blade», made a satisfying and even arresting image.

Wallpaper can be dramatic - I went with a large mirror image design of gingko with soft yellow and ivory, with touches of gold and silver, in the Seattle home - could not work anywhere else.
