Infuse your bath water
with dried seaweed for a refreshing, therapeutic soak that feels like a visit to the seashore.
There are a number of ways to make ramen, including beginning with homemade tonkotsu (creamy pork broth) or dashi (a Japanese broth made
with dried seaweed called kombu).
In college, I ate a very unhealthy version - white rice with some soy sauce, sesame oil, a sprinkling of ground red pepper, and a fried egg on top (over easy) along
with some dried seaweed and other side dishes.

If you're not familiar
with Agar Agar, it is a
dried seaweed that acts very similar to gelatin.

To mimic the flavors of maki rolls, I cut up a sheet of nori, which is the
dried seaweed sheet used to make rolls and tossed the pieces into the salad along
with pickled ginger, chopped cucumber, brown rice and arugula.
Place 1 ounce wakame (
dried seaweed) in a medium bowl; cover
with boiling water and let sit until softened, about 10 minutes.

I prefer to use
dry beans and cook them myself
with a strip of kombu
seaweed.
Try topping
with ginger, sesame seeds and
dried seaweed (I love either dulse or nori) on top.
The carrageenan used in Dr. Ohhira's Probiotics is extracted using a multi-step process to avoid any degradation either by boiling the
seaweed in water and freeze -
drying it, or by precipitation
with alcohol and then concentrating it by evaporation.
A very easy way to get this dose of iodine is in the form of kelp tablets, i.e.,

dried shiitake, maitake, reishi, enokitake, buna - shimeji, bunapi - shimeji, hon - shimeji, hatake - shimeji, king oyster, nameko, hiratake, and matsutake), konnyaku slices (zero calories), shirataki noodles (zero calories), sukiyaki (uses shirataki noodles), brown rice, white rice, wholegrain buckwheat noodles, tomatoes, daikon (giant white turnips), and green vegetables.
For
drier types, instill suppleness and plump skin to its best self
with our mineral rich, hydrating
seaweed toner.
