Probably dealing
with hormone
imbalances such as
estrogen dominance is a far bigger factor than protein source when concerned
with putting on muscle.
This is why you often can't effectively treat someone
with hormonal
imbalance symptoms such as hot flashes by simply adding what seems to be the missing hormone, be it thyroid, progesterone,
estrogen or testosterone.
It also works in conjunction
with liver enzymes to reduce excess
estrogen production which can lead to hormonal
imbalance.
Testosterone levels decrease
with age, but what you may not be aware of is that
with age, some men also experience an increase in their
estrogen levels as well, which leads to a testosterone /
estrogen imbalance.

Oral contraceptives can also cause an excess of
estrogen referred to as
estrogen dominance, which, along
with mood swings, hormone
imbalances and weight gain, can increase inflammation and worsen hypothyroid symptoms.
Usually this
imbalance is a case of too much
estrogen, or
estrogen dominance, coupled
with low progesterone levels.
Just like in women, hormonal
imbalances in men are often associated
with age, as the balance between
estrogen levels and testosterone levels in men often becomes disturbed when they age.

The other way to reduce the
estrogen imbalance of course is
with natural progesterone cream.

Additionally, researchers seem to agree that hormonal

Excessive

with thousands of women, many of whom have been doing something as «normal» as taking ibuprofen, only to later discover that it's blocking their liver from processing and releasing excess
estrogen, which is causing their hormonal
imbalances.
Additionally, simply treating symptoms of
estrogen dominance and hormone
imbalances with bio-identical hormones may not be the way to go!
Hormone

Typically, the hormonal
imbalance associated
with amenorrhea is low
estrogen or a combination of low

with DES, a synthetic
