COLOGNE — From Thursday, April 10th through Sunday, April 13, Corbett vs. Dempsey will present a booth in the «Collaborations» section of Art Cologne, with a myriad of work from the gallery's inventory selected by artist Charline von Heyl.

Fine Art Gallery will be primarily based out of Brooklyn, but we're kicking off our programing with a booth in Tiger Strikes Asteroid's Satellite Show during Art Basel Miami Beach 2015.

The most curious and unusual sculpture of the fair was found at Dublin - based Kerlin Gallery's booth: a tiny, stunningly lifelike rendering of a crab whose front claws were molded from artist Dorothy Cross's own index fingers was painted silver, mounted on a small white plinth no more than two feet high (I'm not great with numbers, but as a reference, it's roughly as tall as my friend's art - going, Instagram - celebrity French Bulldog named Miss Pickle, if she sits upright).

Sharing a booth at the fair with New York's David Nolan Gallery, the Chicago - art - scene boosters Corbett vs. Dempsey brought as their centerpiece this revelation of a sculpture by Diane Simpson, a Windy City artist in her 70s who, as Jim Dempsey puts it, «is still totally kicking ass today.»
