Shami kebabs are made
with an abundance of fabulous spices,
meat (beef,
goat, lamb or chicken) and chana dal (dried garbanzo beans).
They can be toasted by the half - dozen on a baking sheet set under a broiler, and served

We don't eat a lot of
meat and also keep a kosher kitchen, so here are my go to's these days: three bean veggie chili (inspired by whole foods — GREAT leftover food); roast chicken (Ina's); stir fries
with tofu or chicken (super into cabbage and you can get it to taste like moo shoo
with the proper sauces); roasted brussel sprouts
with barley, cranberries, walnuts, and some
goat cheese depending on who you are; grilled chicken (breasts... I know they're not your thing).
So simple and delicious
with meat of any type but especially
with chicken, bushmeat and
goat meat.
The dominant flavor is Italian — think pesto,
goat cheese, prosciutto, tomatoes — all wrapped up in juicy chicken
meat, and smothered in creamy garlicky sauce, then topped
with Mozzarella for a nice, cheesy, bubbly crust!
A meal at Komi is a twelve course affair,
with just a bite of various deliciousnesses followed by some sort of roasted
meat, like duck or
goat.
So many of the recipes look amazing, but the recipes I really want to try first are southwestern chicken egg rolls, hush puppy potato knishes, quionoa «hummus», charoset salad,
goat cheese salad
with raspberry vinaigrette, flanken butternut squash soup,
meat and cabbage soup, pistachio crusted salmon, braised chicken
with apples and sweet potatoes, citrus glazed duck breast, cranberry glazed turkey and spinach meatloaf, maple glazed rack of ribs, veal roast
with mushroom sauce, pastrami meatballs, almond butter banana pancakes, cheesy hash browns, apple kugel muffins, blueberry cobbler, and fudgy chocolate bundt cake
with coffee glaze.
They've replaced the
goat shoulders
with beef, but they've kept the liverwurst which is a good way to incorporate some organ
meat into your caveman diet.
We can load it
with tomato sauce, Italian
meats and
goat cheese.
Paired
with the
goat cheese, it is a combination that pleases both non-
meat and
meat eaters alike.
I topped it
with regular
goat cheese sliced into medallions and I also mixed in some marinated spicy chicken for my husband who needs
meat.
We also serve a delicious dish called sawani, which is a mixture of
goat or sheep
meat with tomatoes, potatoes, and peppers.
At Noma, Redzepi has been treating vegetables like
meat: braising them, basting them, flavoring them
with lots of herbs and butter (preferably that made from sweet, rich
goat's milk).
Button mushrooms at Aldine in Philadelphia, thinly sliced raw, sheltering beef medallions / Old Bay at Fred's
Meat & Bread in Atlanta, dusting killer fries / Boursin at Helm in Philadelphia, stepping in for
goat cheese in a salad

Lunchtime favorites include starting out
with Ahi tuna wontons, or the lodge's Pinnacle Poppers jalapeno and cheese dip followed by elk sloppy Joes, Idaho - raised Kobe beef burgers, and Wild West chili loaded
with savory game
meats and smoky spices, as well as nutrient - dense salads such as their Duck Spinach salad
with homemade balsamic bruschetta and
goat cheese or the Chopped Kale salad
with fried chickpeas, toasted almonds, feta and pomegranate seeds all served
with scratch - made vinaigrettes.
Season the inside of the
meat liberally
with salt and pepper and spread the
goat cheese over one half of the
meat, close the centre opening.
And now I love the balance between a plate full of blissful vegan eats and
with a little
goat cheese, or a chunk of pastured raised
meat, or wild caught fish on the side, and oh ya, got ta have the
goat milk butter to slather on anything coming out of the toaster oven.
Avoid raw
meats and foods that are made from raw milk
with soft
goats» cheese and so on.
That means offering local
goat meat on occasion, and giving students an option of rice
with every meal.
