My favourite pancakes are made
with golden flax seed meal and I swear that they are virtually indistinguishable in taste and appearance from conventional pancakes.

with sea salt 7) Bake for 15 minutes, then stir the granola gently (to make sure all sides are cooked) 8) At this point, you may need to switch the baking sheets (if you are using 2) so the granola cooks evenly 9) Bake for another 15 minutes, then stir again, before cooking for a final 15 minutes or until
golden brown 10) Remove granola from the oven and place on cooking racks until completely cool and crisp 11) Store granola in air - tight containers at room temperature.
* For an egg free version: Mix 2 Tablespoon ground
flax seed,
golden or dark varities,
with 6 Tablespoons warm water.
lol I have a little less than one cup of
flax seed meal (AND, it's not
golden either) do you think it would come out ok if I fill the remainder of that measuring cup
with a little more almond meal?
So I soaked those in hot water for a couple of hours, then blended them and the soaking water
with a small shallot, the white balsamic, about 1/2 tbs of herbs de provence, 1 tsp of lemon zest, 2 tsp of
golden flax seeds, the tbs of lemon juice, and two tbs each of nutritional yeast and dijon mustard.
I took your advice and ground all of the

flax seed in my food processor, which made a sort of paste.
