When I head to Christmas parties, I sometimes like to plan an outfit
with a holiday color theme.
I'm in the camp that metallic is a neutral, so it can truly pair
with any holiday color you're wearing for a party.
I love making classic sugar cookies
with holiday color sprinkles.
For today's post, the adventure begins with a day look, pairing plaid with lace and distressed jeans, and ends with a date night look, coupling plaid
with holiday colors and flare shapes.
But when I learned from somewhere / someone that if you make a purposeful statement
with the holiday colors in one spot, or several, it makes everything festive.

The
holiday has pagan roots and is most often celebrated
with bright
colors and dancing around a «maypole» or a colorful pole decorated
