For the past four years I have been in love
with kale smoothies and I'm happy to announce that in that time I've changed a lot of skeptics into green smoothie lovers as well.
While her weekday mornings may be filled
with kale smoothies and overnight oats, she still loves a hearty stack of pancakes and crispy bacon on a Sunday.
I start every morning
with a kale smoothie, but when I get a chance to have a juice when I am out and about I jump at the opportunity.
The day after, I always start
with a kale smoothie.

smoothies yes thats all I have for breakfast, I make big ones though, normally
with two bananas as the base and then lots of other fruit, some spinach or
kale, dates and then a mixture of some nuts / seeds / super-foods, either chia seeds, ground flaxseeds, hemp protein, spirulina, maca, oats, almond butter etc..

Smoothies are an easy way to nourish your body

I like to make a
smoothie most mornings using apple and
kale with coconut milk.

The
smoothie was made
with spinach,
kale, peaches, bananas and apple juice and I can't tell you how good I felt knowing that she was sipping on something so nutritious.
I've played around
with using
kale instead, but I've found that if I have even a liiiiiittle too much
kale, it gives my
smoothie a bitter taste and I don't enjoy it at all.

Pineapples are filled
with healthy sugars that make it a great addition to a
kale smoothie or a juice, and can simply be enjoyed as a snack.
Any
smoothie with kale is my kids favorite.
You could try a green

with orange juice instead of apple juice for extra vitamin c. I do have lots of recipes here for sauteed
kale and beet greens, but I'm not sure if that would be too hard for him to chew.
And my daughter loves her monster juice, which is a
smoothie made
with lots of fruit and one or two small
kale leaves.
To make sure that the
kale is pureed nicely
with the rest of the
smoothie, run the blender for about a minute once the
smoothie is liquified without big chunks of mango getting stuck.
Things like
kale chips, green
smoothies with kale in them, and hundreds of other
kale recipes will all get more of these antioxidants into your system.
I got used to
kale or spinach in my
smoothies fast, they're especially great
with frozen banana.

Here's a pleasing combination for a green
smoothie —
kale and pineapple,
with the added cleansing benefit of cucumber.
With a full day and the need for efficiency, I find drinking a
kale smoothie in the morning or as an afternoon snack is a sure way to stay fueled and alert.

kale, along
with spinach to be one of the best bang for the buck greens, or any food for that matter, that you can add to a
smoothie.

with a scattering of pomegranate seeds and hazelnuts, preferably blitzed — chia seeds optional.
