An occasional person will actually require a ketogenic state to achieve weight loss, i.e., complete elimination of carbohydrates in order to metabolize fats, evidenced by the fruity breath odor of ketones or urine dipstick testing positive

I have been testing
with ketostix (yes I know that this is not the most reliable method but it is the only method that I have access to currently) and my test strips only register just over negative or small amounts.
Ketone levels vary
with Ketostix for reasons including how hydrated you are.
I'm one week in and measuring high for ketosis
with ketostix.
Unfortunately, there is no way
with ketostix to determine which of the above is at play.
Not exact matches
I was feeling SUPER discouraged as I can't seem to stay in ketosis consistently (according to the

with silly things like onions and cucumber seeming to bump me out.
I do nt use
ketostix cause cant never find those in my country (im dominican), I started
with 202 pounds and im already down to 194 (wich is crazy) I know that most of the pounds I've lost is water loss.
Lastly, I have noticed that my
ketostix do correlate pretty accurately
with my ketone meter at this point.

You can check your ketone levels
with the help of a blood ketone and glucose testing meter or
ketostix.

with testing.
