Half - Life is
rich with lore, and because of this, things have constantly changed during the series development.
The
issue with lore is that your whole stance seems to be based off the usage of a single term.
There is no penalty for doing so, although you are
rewarded with lore points which can be used to upgrade the characters different abilities.
I also appreciated how this game did not waste too much
time with lore and background info.
Along with the lore aspect, the game itself tells the story in the way the characters interact.
