This is done easily by placing croutons in a Ziploc bag and hitting it a few times
with a meat mallet or use a rolling pin.
I'm going to solve both problems by adding Pez candy and then beating it mercilessly
with a meat mallet.
Pound the steak very thin
with a meat mallet then transfer to a large container.
Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board and if necessary, pound
with a meat mallet to ensure an even thickness.
If necessary, lay the beef slices between 2 pieces of plastic wrap and gently pound

To crush candies easily, place them in a resealable plastic bag and crush

But recently, I started buying the chicken strips instead, and they are so much easier to handle — just a couple of bangs
