You just pit the
nectarines, throw them in a blender
with some wine and sugar.
It's become a favorite in my house and I recently updated the recipe on my site
with some new pictures when I saw how lovely ripe
nectarines, raspberries and cherries surrounding the creamy white mound of silky cream.

I followed the LA Times recipe for Perfumed
Nectarine Jam only replacing the fruit
with strawberries and vanilla.
I've used raspberries, blackberry and marionberries, all
with great success, as well as peaches,
nectarines and plums.
If you try this
with frozen
nectarines, this would be equally delicious!
And if there is an abundance of
nectarines you don't know what to do
with, use them for this delicious recipe!
You can replace the strawberries
with other crushed fresh fruit like peaches or
nectarines if you wish.
