A new striker definitely would have improved our chances of major success, but even
with a new striker there's still too many mistakes being made in other areas that affect our chances of winning.
Whilst he would be a fantastic addition to the club, it looks like United won't be walking away
with the new striker in a quick swoop!

I don't want to say this, but in the interest of Arsenal's Ucl success over Barca, I want to say, if the Ucl attacking quality of Barcelona's 4 players of, Suarez, Messi, Neymar and Rakitic will play for Barca against Arsenal in both 2 legged ties, the Boss MUST consider the possibility of upgrading the Arsenal's 2 CBs & DM position
with 2 or 3 top quality
new additions of a CB, DM and a
striker to face Barca and knock them out of this round of 8 fixtures.
All summer Arsenal fans were crying out for Arsene Wenger to splash the cash on a
new striker,
with Olivier Giroud proving on more than one occasion that he just isn't up to the mark.
I rally don't know what is going on
with Mr Wenger he let jensen go to spurs and now he is diddling his finger around It looking like «we didn't find the quality

new striker for a number of reasons — Need an upgrade — We also need depth — And tactics
with different styles of play.
Unless something drastic happens over the coming weeks We will be going into this campaign
with basically the same set of players plus a

We need a
new striker certainly, I hope Wolfsburg pull through in their interest of Giroud so we can be rid of him and his measly 13 goals, I was shocked to see that Jermaine Defoe at relegation threatened Sunderland has 15 goals which is more than Giroud while playing
with worse players!
For one thing he is a different type of player and gives Arsenal a completely different option up top, unlike Theo Walcott who maybe should be the player that Arsenal are looking to offload now that we have this
new striker with pace and plenty of goals.

Instead of moving players out of position to accommodate a
new arrival how about applying some tactical nous and allowing two talented players to both play as
strikers.The best teams of 1998 - 2004 had a number of different
strikers playing off the genius of Dennis Bergkamp.We had pace, movement and power.Although I would not put Ozil in Bergkamps class he is talented enough to pull the strings
with other playmakers such as Jack and Mikki in the side in a 442.
