I didn't want to just
stuff plain brownies
with the traditional
old things, I wanted to create the cooling, tingling center of a York peppermint pattie and layer it into a brownie.
I did manage to convert a favorite pumpkin cookie recipe to a coconut flour recipe, to create my gluten - free / paleo pumpkin chip cookie recipe, and it took many, many tries to get it right (not to mention help from my
oldest daughter, who, growing up baking
with coconut flour, is a whiz at this
stuff!).
How about putting a fun twist on an
old classic
with these pistachio
stuffed chocolate - chocolate covered strawberries!
