home with other small pets unless they are clearly separated and reside in a ferret proof part of your home.
Although some fanciers claim Tamaskans are good with small animals, these dogs sometimes have a strong prey drive and should not be left
alone with other small pets.
They tend to be wary towards strangers and although they can get
along with other small pets, another large dog in the household might cause problems unless the owner is a strong and dominant leader.
