The
permanent installation, in the Grosser Garten, Herrenhausen Gardens, Hannover, consisted of three rooms which were decorated on every surface
with mirrors, glass, ceramics, and colored stones.
Works by Francesco Clemente, Jenny Holzer, Richard Long, and Sol LeWitt, among others, were made
with Gehry's spaces in mind, and most recently Richard Serra has grouped eight monumental sculptures in a
permanent installation in Bilbao's largest gallery.
These
installations were first shown at Blum & Poe in Los Angeles and Jack Tilton in New York; they also toured European museums
