I don't like messing
with pie dough and this looks like the solution for me (a bun instead of a crust).
anyone ever tried to do
this with pie dough?
Mix together whatever leftover meat and vegetables you have in the fridge, maybe bind with a gravy or cheese sauce, top
with pie dough, and bake.
If you follow my posts, you're probably aware of my love affair
with pie dough.
Finally, the dough will be a bit crumbly after chilling, so when it's time to form the cookies into balls, let the dough warm up a bit first — much like you would do
with a pie dough.
Not exact matches
I unrolled the paper - thin
dough into the
pie pan, where it barely peeked over the edges, filled it
with the apple mixture, wrestled again
with the second round of pâte brisée, and then finally draped the «lid» over the filling.
You may replace cranberries
with blueberries or use all apples - as long as your pan is all full of fruit.If you are in a hurry, use prepared
pie dough or sugar cookie
dough to line the pan.

Dust the work surface
with flour and roll out the
dough to make 12 - 13 inch circle, transfer it in 9 inch
pie dish, fold the edges and crimp
with your finger.
And if Cook's publishes it, it must be true (although I'm
with you on the not using vodka in the
pie dough — much better without!).
A sweet potato
pie typically takes about 60 minutes baked at 350 degrees, and this
dough does very well at that temperature
with no need to cover the edges during baking.
Carefully lift the wax paper
with rolled
dough and flip into
pie pan.
Brush the edges of the
pie dough with a bit of water.
Meanwhile... Make the crust: — Mix together almond and cashew meal (or whatever you have)
with a mix of honey and coconut oil (or you can just do one or the other or butter — I like the mix because then it's sweet but not too sweet) until it is a sticky

pie pan and chill until you're ready for it — Pour in the hot blueberry mixture — stir in some fresh blueberries for fun!

Luckily I've got you covered

Not because I don't think I am a good enough baker (ok pat myself on the back) but because I can not decorate a cake or do fancy
dough work
with a
pie to save my life.
This vegan spinach
pie, made
with layers of phyllo
dough and a creamy cashew - based cheese, comes together quickly for a light meal or appetizer that will not disappoint!
I did add 2 tablespoons of sugar to the easy buttery
pie dough recipe (adding it
with the flour in step 1).
On a well - floured surface, working
with half of the
dough at a time, roll the dumplings out as you would a

dough that you stretch and stretch until it is see - through - thin and big enough to cover your entire kitchen counter — I changed my tune from apple
pie to apple strudel.
To line your
pie plate, roll out
dough on baking paper or a pastry cloth dusted
with a tiny bit of spelt flour.
The
pie dough is made from scratch and to make it extra special I have combined the apples
with blackberries in the filling.
When you can gather the
dough into a ball, press it evenly into a 9 ″ round fluted
pie tin
with removable bottom.
As it is some sort of onion
pie, it is often considered as a type of pizza, and in fact the traditional Pissaladière is made
with bread
dough, along
with pissalat, a sort of a paste or salted cream made from sardines or salted anchovies which gives this dish its name.
For the cherry
pies, I filled the muffin tins
with prepared cherry filling and then topped it
with a few strips of leftover
dough to form a lattice.
In a
pie dish coated
with a non-stick cooking spray, press the
dough to make the crust.
That's a balance you'll get better at sensing by touch the more you continue to work
with pie crust
dough.
Note: if using homemade
dough, pre-bake tart shell covered in foil
with dried beans or
pie weights at 400 degrees F for 15 - 17 minutes, then and add meat and veggies and custard filling and bake for additional 20 minutes or so until the tart is set.
Baking
with peaches isn't quite as simple as just slicing up ripe fruit and crimping some
pie dough.

Mix the mushrooms
with half the chopped walnuts and spread on the
pie dough, leaving a 1 1/2 - inch edge.
With the
dough hook attachment on, start mixing on low speed adding in the melted butter, pumpkin puree, 1/4 cup sugar, pumpkin
pie spices and salt.
I'm not real confident
with the grill, so I think that when I muster the courage to try this, I'll split the
dough into smaller
pies.
Mix the
dough like you would a
pie crust, then roll it out super, super thin between two sheet of wax paper, then use a pizza cutter to slice the
dough into square, dust
with cinnamon sugar and then use a really thin metal spatula to scrap the
dough up and place it on a baking sheet.
