The FDA especially wants people already suffering from blood cancer or who have a history of the disease to be very careful when taking Actos, or better yet refrain from taking medications
with pioglitazone, which is the generic name of Actos.
The FDA is now recommending that drugs
with pioglitazone not be prescribed to people who already have blood cancer and that those with a history of the disease must be cautious should they choose to take this medication.
