Usually I make these cupcakes
with a plain cream cheese frosting or don't even frost them at all.
Whenever I buy a dozen bagels, I always order one pumpernickel just for me, and I slather
it with plain cream cheese.
Making a tea infused cream sounds heavenly, but I don't care for coconut, would it work
with a plain cream?

My favorite frosting of all time is a
plain, simple buttercream
with butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, almond extract, and a splash of heavy

I used Tofutti
cream cheese (
plain) for this recipe and I was completely blown out
with the amazing texture of the pancake batter.
Fill them
with plain sweetened whipped
cream and a few fresh berries... a dollop of your favorite flavor of frosting... or even a small spoonful of ice
cream or frozen yogurt.
And, like all chili, it required massive amounts of toppings; we topped off our steaming bowls
with Parmesan cheese, flat - leaf parsley, a few chunks of avocado, and huge spoonfuls of
plain Greek yogurt (my favorite substitute for sour
cream).

Another great sub is to make the dressing
with plain Greek yogurt instead of sour
cream.
* As much as I love

A combination of sour
cream and milk gives a stronger, tangier flavor than
plain buttermilk, which contrasts nicely
with the sweetness of the sweet potatoes.
Frosting: (measurements are approximate) 3 tablespoons vegan

plain whipped
cream.

plus a great lable)- veg broth (no less «meaty than if I'd used beef)- Rosemary in place of thyme (what was on hand / fresh)- and finally, topped
with plain yogurt instead of sour
cream (again, what was on hand)
Note: The flavor of your Crème Fraiche will depend on the brand of heavy
cream you use plus whether you «sour» the
cream with buttermilk or
plain yogurt.
After a few weeks of eating peaches
plain,
with yogurt and on oatmeal, I developed quite a craving for peach cobbler
with ice
cream.

You could decorate it
with some more
cream cheese frosting (double the recipe), toasted meringue, or just
plain melted chocolate....
Whether you go
with coconut whipped
cream, the chocolate protein variation, or even
plain, these cupcakes will definitely have you going back for seconds.
A
plain vanilla cheesecake made
with cream cheese, sour
cream and a touch of gelatin, it's quite simply perfect.
Anyway, thanks to Prana Bar, I was able to survive until I got home and made this super extra creamy oats cooked in almond milk and a bit of soymilk, topped
with ice
cream non fat
plain yogurt and Natural Directions Organic Crunchy Peanut Butter.
Please!!!! A good tip for making homemade ice
cream and using it for a cake, or just for
plain eating - if you want it smooth and perfect consistency without the wait, just cut it up
with a fork or knife and blend it for 30 seconds, return it to the freezer until ready to eat and enjoy smooth and creamy ice
cream.
And instead of just going
with a
plain chocolate ice
cream (which you could also do), I decided to add mint extract and some cacao nibs for a little crunch.
I used a bit less broccoli and a bit more potatoes because I didn't want to overwhelm my kids and replaced the artificial low - fat cooking
cream which I wouldn't consider eating
with plain low - fat milk.
I use it as one would commonly see yogurt at the store, mixed
