I've been enjoying both the Four Sigma Foods Chaga and Reishi «instant mushroom beverages», just prepared
with hot water as a tea as I find the flavour really pleasant (especially
with a slice of fresh ginger), but you can blend the powders into smoothies and use them in baking,
cooking and
raw recipes.
In this yummy vegan brownie recipe, we're using almond flour in conjunction
with oat flour,
cooked quinoa and
raw cacao powder which makes them seriously delicious (and healthy).

Your giving your body things that you would most likely not eat on its own, especially in its
raw state (not
cooked, doused
with dressing, etc.).
You can always add
raw chicken in
with it, it will
cook just fine.
If you prefer you can
cook the carrot together
with the noodles but I like the
raw crunchy freshness that it adds to this soup.

Maybe I never learned to
cook because I do better
with Raw.
And to minimize
cooking time, instead of working
with raw chicken I opted for some leftover rotisserie chicken instead.
I
cooked with a smallish pot that could scarcely hold all of my
raw shrooms.
I'm by no means a
raw foodist and I believe in having both
raw and
cooked foods, but we're using lots of nuts and seeds here
with a high fat content, and at above 116 degrees those fats can start to oxidize and be denatured.
The onion was lightly sauteed in a pan
with cooking spray so reduce that sharp flavor that comes
with raw onions.
