The brunch menu is a little sinful (for those days you just wan na), but you will find lots of healthy delicious options for dinner like grilled fennel
with shaved almonds in a lemon wine reduction or dijon mustard crusted tempeh!
Rubbed some garlic salt inside of chicken and put half of lemon (cut side in), placed in Pyrex with onion pieces (as you described), sprinkled with more sesame oil and, the best part, sprinkled
with shaved almonds!
Remove from oven, top
with the shaved almonds and let cool 5 - 10 minutes before serving.

Last night was a SK cook - a-thon: kale and wild rice gratin, date and
almond breakfast bars (double batch so I feel like a superstar having backups in the freezer), and a variation of your
shaved zucchini salad (I used carrots instead, for a sweeter crunch paired
with the gratin).
What's in it: 3 apples (a firm apple like honey crisp or granny smith are easiest to slice

I thought the thawed bananas for the topping would release too much moisture so I proceeded
with the butter sugar step but added
shaved toasted
almonds which worked well.

I highly doubt I'll ever pull together a salad of arugula, roasted purple potatoes and
shaved asparagus, but I might be willing to spoon some of that vinaigrette on a standard mixture of greens and top it
with some toasted
almonds.

Instead of using cranberries I used chopped dried apricot (I love cranberries, but I didn't have them at the moment), also next time instead of using
shaved (sliced)
almond I will use coconut
shaves (I love coconut), for sure I will play around a bit
with this recipe, using some cashews, pecans, brazil nuts, hazelnuts, pistachios etc... Every week a diferent granola?
I've been fixated on cold Brussels sprouts salads since I made my
Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad
with Dried Blueberries, Bacon,
Almonds and Manchego and this one was every bit as delectable, even without the cheese and bacon.
Lay your zucchini strips on top, toss in some feta or
shaved Parmesan and sprinkle
with toasted nuts, I used hazelnuts here
with the feta, but pine nuts or slivered
almonds would be just as good.
Scoop a few ice cream balls on top and decorate
with berries,
shaved chocolate, and
almond flakes.
I did substitute coconut oil
with grape - seed oil though and added
shaved almonds.
