Cut potatoes and onion into even sized chunks or

with the lemon
slices, I roasted a big handful of unskinned
garlic cloves, then squeezed them out into the blender.
Meant to mention that I put very thinly
sliced garlic, a sprinkle of dried thyme, salt and sugar, along

Thinly
slice the potatoes (I leave the skins on) and place in a bowl
with the asparagus and smashed
garlic cloves.
Cover them
with water, a few
slices of onion and maybe a clove of
garlic and simmer it for a while and strain the mixture — voila!

slices, cut it up afterward, and stir in fresh chopped tomatoes
with just a tablespoon or so of minced onion — perhaps scallions — along
with only half the
garlic.
