results to gauge
teachers, Race to the Top also ensured that many not - ready - for - primetime systems would be hurriedly rolled out and entangled
with the Common Core and its associated tests.
The
results of the study are in line
with the advocacy of the foundation, which has for several years funded groups that promote using value - added metrics as part of a
teacher's
evaluation.
The list of potential headaches for new
teachers is long, starting
with the ongoing, ideological fisticuffs over the Common Core State Standards, high - stakes testing and efforts to link test
results to
teacher evaluations.

with expectations for

That number is small compared to the Atlanta and Philadelphia scandals, yet
with more state policies — like

teachers to improve their on task engagement by 55 % (or more), or supporting the leaders at East Tech in Cleveland to raise their graduation rate from 46 % to 73 % and scoring in the top 1 % nationally for growth on the NWEA, or working
with teachers unions to support their
teachers with quality professional development to support new
evaluations systems.
