Cavalcanti's British underworld is a suitably seedy atmosphere of shadowy alleys, foggy waterfront dives, and claustrophobic underground clubs, and he matches the dark urban underworld setting
with taut direction and

Even at a lean two hours (including credits), it still feels like Justice League could've been shorter
with some
tighter writing and
editing.
In fact,
editing the film down would have resulted in a much
tighter film and essentially helped
with the pacing so it didn't feel as drawn out as it did.
Fans of home invasion films like The Strangers will find plenty to enjoy here,
with Flanagan's efficient direction and
editing keeping the tension up thanks to the incredibly
tight screenplay (written by both Flanagan and Siegel).
This is especially difficult to do if you have little - to - no experience
with editing and / or are on a
tight budget.
And I've seen
tight and professional
editing on work from some of the self - publishing pros, who know the value of good beta readers, keep working on their craft and their profession, and partner
with people who will keep them on track.
Even so, it's less costly than a developmental
edit plus a line
edit or copyedit, so it could be a good fit for a seasoned author
with a
tight manuscript and a
tight production schedule.
