with learning
traditional and
folk songs from the U.S. and around the world in grades one through eight, the interval and pentatonic flutes are introduced in first grade, followed by the soprano recorder in grade three.
But how did a
traditional Scots
folk song —
with lyrics that many people scarcely understand — emerge as one of the world's most enduring popular
songs?
All lyrics and music on the album are written by Martin Creed,
with the exception of the New Shutters which is Martin's arrangement of a
traditional Neapolitan
folk song.
