Hi Margaret, coconuts are not tree nuts from an allergy perspective, and while some people
with tree nut allergies are also allergic to coconuts they are mutually exclusive (similarly those allergic to peanuts are not always allergic to tree nuts, although peanuts are generally included in «nut free» disclaimers).
