This way, we will eat the chicken straight away in the stock

vegetables (I often throw some chopped veggies, sometimes from the freezer, into the pot for the last 20ish minutes) for an easy

The only things that would make it more hippie - ish would be to sprinkle it
with nutritional yeast, and perhaps do a green version of the cheese (which I've considered;)... If you're trying to make a
meal out of the nachos, a good approach is to pile them high
with an added sheet pan of simple, roasted
vegetables.

For me, this means healthy fats — it's an excellent way for me to get more oily fish into my diet; fermented
vegetables — which are served
with every savoury
meal around here; and, since we both eat first
with our eyes and because they're so good for you — adding a garnish of fresh herbs.
Set out 4 containers (or bowls, if serving as a
meal) and starting
with the fresh
vegetables, layer
with 1/2 a cup of baby spinach, a handful of carrots, red cabbage.
Nothing excites me more than finding stacks of containers filled
with uneaten cooked
vegetables, roasted proteins, and good - for - you - grains hanging out in the fridge waiting for a
meal makeover.
Just stop at any ol' pastry (can't spell in French), bakery,
vegetable stand, restaurant — one of my most memorable
meals was an Ethopian off on a side street
with another being fresh bread, an avocado purchased from a Bengladeshi street vendor, butter and fantastic pepper (just ground black pepper that was so pungent) from a small market.
