Anchoring the plates are
wood chargers, which go well
with the natural colors in the centerpiece.

with that gorgeous buffalo check, gold, and
wood chargers — such a beautiful table!!
I layered my formal dinner plates on top of the
wood slice
chargers to bring a pop of shine to the table
with their gold rim (I love the juxtaposition between the rustic
wood and the fine china!).
On top of the
wood chargers, I selected the AllModern Pfaltzgraff «Birch» White dishes, and alternated
with a pretty teal colored salad plate from the AllModern Dansk «The Burbs Carved Medium» dish set (sold out but similar HERE).
I wanted to mix some new
with things I already had, so for each place setting I used the white birch dishes, striped napkins and
wood chargers that I got from AllModern a couple months ago, french flatware from BirchLane that I got this past spring, and vintage brass candlesticks I already had.
The combination of the
wood charger with the white plates, greenery and red & white napkin... topped of
with my favorite part - the chipboard houses!
This month my bright green placemats start the setting, topped
with a
wood look square
charger.
I used
wood chargers for the table - I love the mix of the gold and silver
with the rustic
wood and antlers - strikes the perfect balance for a holiday table where you want a little bling and sparkle, but love the rustic style too.

Each place setting received a
wood slice
charger, a hand - thrown style white dish, and a beautiful snowy white damask napkin tied
with a black ribbon and embellished
with some greenery and a pinecone.
On top of the
wood chargers, I selected the AllModern Pfaltzgraff «Birch» White dishes, and alternated
with a pretty teal colored salad plate from the AllModern Dansk «The Burbs Carved Medium» dish set (sold out but similar HERE).
This table could actually fit in
with any season, but the natural elements like the
wood chargers and brown place cards make me think of fall.
Then the layering continued
with wood slabs, that I am using as
chargers, buffalo plaid paper plates, white porcelain desert plates, buffalo plaid napkins, and reindeer ornaments used as napkin holders (and then gifts.)
The natural elements of the
wood, burlap and pinecones mixed
with the bright gold pumpkins and
chargers takes this table to a whole other level.
