Don't leave tempting shoes, clothing, or children's toys
within reach of your dog.
Other exposures that are common are with horse owner's deworming their horse and the paste is spit out and the dog laps it up off the barn floor, or the medication is
within reach of the dog and the container is chewed and a large dose is ingested.
These same guests may also leave suitcases or purses
